This isn’t just about networking—it’s about actually making films, growing together, and being part of something different.
What is FlightHouse?
Create, Connect Collaborate and Fly
FlightHouse is a creative collective for filmmakers, writers, actors, editors, and all-around visionaries ages 17–25. It was built for those of us who don’t fit the mold—too old for teen film camps, too young or too disconnected for traditional industry spaces.
Here, you won’t need a film degree, a huge portfolio, or permission to join. All you need is the drive to create, the willingness to learn, and a community to grow with.
FlightHouse exists to fill the gap: to offer real opportunities to connect, make things, and be part of something that reflects who we are—young artists with something to say, and the boldness to say it differently. We host film challenges, writing sessions, critiques, in-person events, and soon, even real production opportunities through Pluma Studio Films.
This isn’t a film club. It’s not a masterclass. It’s the starting point of something bigger—something made by us, for us.
Whether you're in school, out of school, self-taught, or still figuring it out, if you’re passionate about film and want to work with others who feel the same—you belong here.
Who is it for?
FlightHouse is made for young creatives between the ages of 17 and 25—whether you're just getting started or already building your portfolio. You don’t need a certain number of credits, fancy equipment, or even a finished film. What you do need is a desire to grow, create, and be part of something meaningful.

📸 Attend in-person events and workshops (DFW only)
Network, learn, and create through real-life meetups designed for young creatives.

Fill crew roles, join production teams, or assist with upcoming Pluma Studio Films projects.

Not everyone needs to be behind the camera—some roles involve organizing, outreach, and social strategy.
